Luiza + Derrick | Piedmont Wedding

What can we say about Luiza and Derrick… These two humans have truly become some of our favorites. It’s pretty incredible that my job allows us to meet people like this. Genuine, beautifully artistic, utterly kind, adventurous, caring, easy to talk to, recommends the best pizza on the planet kind of people.

After several emails back and fourth Luiza booked us to photograph their engagement and wedding photos. (Their epic San Francisco - Golden Gate Bridge Engagement Session can be found HERE!!) And after meeting them that first time their wedding was the one we looked forward to all year. Because here’s the thing, it’s not always about the place, it’s about the people…. And these people are pretty amazing. But nothing prepared me for the absolute incredible beauty of this wedding day!

Piedmont Community Hall was a little hidden gem in the East Bay just outside of the City. Surrounded by redwoods and lush greenery, it was the perfect setting for these forest lovers, and close enough for their friends and family.

Luiza + Derrick - we can’t wait to see you again this year. A pizza date is calling our names, friends!
